History and Overview

In April, 1982 WGXA Television signed on in Macon, Georgia. The station was purchased in July of 1995 by GOCOM Communications, who then switched network affiliation in January of 1996 from ABC to FOX. By May of 1997 WGXA was awarded FOX Network's #1 Club for Fastest Growing News in the Country. We have received the #1 Club award several times for being rated #1 in Primetime for Adults 18-49.

FOX 24 airs Middle Georgia's only Primetime newscast, FOX 24 News at 10:00. We also offer the only show in Middle Georgia that gives viewers a voice in local news, politics, and more with The FOX Files.

Our studio and offices are located in the heart of downtown Macon, at 599 Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd. We are currently owned by Frontier Radio Management Inc. (Jason Wolff, president).
