Event Description
Save the date and join us for a day of “Furry Fun” to meet the newest members of the Museum’s mammal family, quiz our experts, play games, create art, and taste some interesting treats at our Road Side Café. Mammals of all ages are invited to come enjoy a full day of events. Learn how Bloodhounds are trained to find people. Macon Police Department Canine Unit will conduct demonstrations; A-Z Animals (“All about Bats”) with Vicky Smith will showcase something special; and others will be featured in the Museum’s main lobby: Macon Police Dept. K-9 Unit, Bloodhound Heaven, Lay Z Acres Miniature Horses, Greyhounds Galore, Dauset Trails Nature Center, Dr. Lori Giles from Peach County Veterinary Clinic, Mammal Arts and Crafts, Mammal Tattoos, Deal or no Deal, Mammal Raffle, and many more!
