"Helping Hands, Helping People Youth & Family Day"

Young people will get a chance to come together and share their concerns and opinions on challenges facing them and how they can be solved during the Helping Hands Community Outreach & Frank Johnson Community Center co-sponsored "Helping Hands, Helping People Youth & Family Day".

The event will take place at Frank Johnson Community Center (2227 Mercer University Drive) from 12 p.m. - 5 p.m. Saturday, November 17.

In addtion to panel discussions youth will be treated to an afternoon of FREE food and entertainment. Local celebrity panelists and moderators will engage 3 panels of 10-13 year olds, 14-17 year olds and 18-25 year olds on everything from bullying to productive conflict resolution.

Youth & Family Day promises to be a memorable, fun outing that provides a safe venue for young people to come together in a positive way with their elders and peers.
